Travelling today or planning for your 1 day Itinerary using the Osaka Amazing Pass / ePass? This comprehensive travel guide is complete with route map, schedule, train lines with minimal transfers and travel time. Start your 1 day itinerary as early as 6:00 AM in Osaka Castle, ride the boats such as Gozabune Boat, Aqualiner, Cruise Ship Sta. Maria, Tombori River Cruise, Tombori Jazz Boat, try the Hep 5 and Tempozan Ferries Wheel and see the skyline from Umeda Sky Building and Tsutenkaku.

You can also follow this itinerary even if you are not using the Osaka Amazing Pass. Just pay for the entrance fees of the attractions you wish to enter. If you are using the Kansai Thru pass or the Osaka Metro 1 day Pass, your ride will be covered by the train lines.

6:00 AMOsaka CastleThis is the first part of the itinerary. The Osaka Castle Grounds is already open but the Castle Museum wont open until 9:00 AM. If you wish to enter the castle, you can wait as early as 8:00 AM and enter as soon as the Castle Museum opens the If you wish to enter the museum, adjust the schedule accordingly.
You can take photos of the castle while waiting.
Take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line subway from Namba Station to Tannimachi 4-chome Station. Walk 15 mins to the castle.		2 hoursMidosuji Line
9:00 AMOsaka Castle Gozabune BoatFrom Osaka Castle, you may walk towards the Osaka Jo Gozabune Pier 1 hour
10:15 AMAqualinerTake the Aqualiner cruise near Osakajokoen station. The first schedule is at 10:15 AM. The tour is about 40 minutes long. If you miss this schedule or if the boat is full, the next schedule is 11:00 AM. You can check the full schedule of the Aqualiner HERE1 hour–
11:30 AMHep 5 Ferries WheelWalk back to Tannimachi 4-chome Station and ride the Midosuji Line to Osaka Umeda Station. After exiting the Station, you will see the Hep 5 Ferries wheel at a distance. It is 5-10 minutes walk from the station.1 hourMidosuji Line
12:30 PMUmeda Sky BuildingAfter your ride, you can take your lunch or head immediately to Umeda Sky Building to see the Skyline of Osaka. Walking time is 15-20 minutes1.5 hours
2:30 PMTempozan Ferris WheelWalk back to Umeda Station then ride the Midosuji Line to Honmachi Station and then transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line subway to Osakako Station. Walk for another 10 minutes going to Tempozan Ferris Wheel. Depending on the queue which may take around 10 minutes to 30 mins, the Ferris Wheel will take around 15 minutes from boarding until exit. 1 hour• Midosuji Line →

3:30 PMCruise Ship Sta. Maria / Legoland Discovery CenterAfter your ferris wheel ride, walk towards the pier and ride the Cruise ship Santa Maria Day Cruise or the Twilight Cruise
• The Universal Studios Japan can be seen while riding the Cruise ship.
• The whole ride is around 30-40 mins.
• You may also take your lunch here.
• If you are travelling with kids, you can also enter the Legoland Discovery Center. Adults only cannot enter this without accompanying kids.
• You can also enter the Kaiyukan, the world’s largest aquariuum, but this is a separate charge and not included in the pass		2-3 hours
6:00 PMTsutenkaku / Tower SliderIf you are planning to go up to the Tsutenkaku Tower, make sure you arrive before 7:00 PM as the tower is only open until 7:30 PM.
• The Tower slider is also in Tsutenkaku but only available for free from Monday to Friday. You can still choose to try the slider and pay separately.
• The Famous Shin-Sekai is also found in this location. You can enjoy shopping or walk along the alleys and get some booze or eat your dinner		2 hours
8:00 PMDotonboriOnce you are done with Shin Sekai, you can head over and explore the Dotonbori area. If lucky and there is not much queue, you might still be able to ride the Tombori River Cruise or Jazz Boat3 hours–
