JR Yamanote Line

JR Yamanote Line, operated by JR East, has 30 stations from Osaki Station to Shinagawa Station in Tokyo.

The Yamanote Line or Tokyo Green Line, operated by JR East, is a circle line that goes around Tokyo with Inner and Outer Loop on a clockwise and counterclockwise direction. It serves important stations like Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Shinagawa, Shinjuku, Tokyo Station, and Ueno.

The Yamanote Line also connects with the Narita Express (NEX) via Tokyo, Shinagawa, and Shinjuku Station to Narita Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and Keisei Airport Express via Ueno Station. Meanwhile, you can ride the Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport in Hamamatsucho Station.

The Yamanote line also connects to the Akita Shinkansen to Akita Prefecture, Hokuriku Shinkansen to Kanazawa Station, Tohoko Shinkansen to Shin-Aomori Station, Tokaido Shinkansen to Nagoya, Kyoto and Shin-Osaka Station, Yamagata Shinkansen to Shinjo Station.
